The upcoming cyclone PHET is about to hit Karachi in next 2 hours, (i.e 1 PM Sunday), relief activities have been started lately in the night and are still continued. Social workers and Political activists of the most prominent Political party of Karachi are busy in relief activities and are trying to solve the problems of citizens. Though "Phet" is now of category 1, it is not expected to hit Karachi that badly, but the real problem for the people of Karachi will be the heavy rain in result of the cyclone.
Next 6 - 8 hours are most important for the current situation in Karachi.
