GOVERNOR SINDH INAUGURATES 5 KM MALIR RIVER BRIDGE.

Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has said that the leadership of MQM has while completing numerous development projects of concrete bridges and underpasses besides making political bridges and demonstrating political patience proved that not only the party has the services of talented and best administrators but the charges leveled at it in past regarding creating disability were also wrong. City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal has made the planning for future which also includes the provision of livelihood to people and measures to up grade their life style.

He expressed these views while addressing a huge public meeting in Azeempura Shah Faisal Colony after inaugurating the biggest bridge of the history of Karachi constructed at Malir River to connect Korangi with Shah Faisal Colony.

He said that he felt much pleasure on the inauguration of this bridge as he had also laid the foundation stone for this bridge in 2005 and now inaugurating it after its completion.

Governor Sindh said that the bridge at Malir River will provide convenience to whole city.
He said that it has been always in our priority to focus the problems faced by the citizens and solve them.

Governor of Sindh said that City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal has solved the problems of city while carrying out fast paced development process in a very short period.

He said that the bridge has shortened the distance by reducing 28 km and now people of Korangi Town, Landhi Town and Shah Faisal Colony could reach the city centres within few minutes. this is the longest bridge ever built in country and would serve not only people of the surroundig areas but the industries in Korangi and Landhi wouyld also feel the comfort as the bridge has now connected two extremes of city where industries newtwork is present.

Speaking on the occasion, City Nazim S Mustafa Kamal said that the construction of Malir River Bridge has changed the thoughts of " people across the bridge" and now people living in posh areas such as Clifton and DHA who never thought of making a long drive in old city areas such as Liaquatabad and new Karachi are now frequently visiting these areas on a long drive journet and this only happened due to flyovers, under passes and corridors that the Haq Parast leadership has gifted to the city. Earlier millions of people flooded the Korangi 8000 road on Wednesday evening to greet Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan and City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal with warm welcome when they reached Singer Chowrangi to inaugurate the longest bridge in the history of Karachi.

Later the Governor with City Nazim visited the bridge linking Korangi to Shah Faisal Colony via Malir River. They were accompanied by millions of people on this occasion who were chanting slogans, holding flags of Muttahida Quomi Movement and portraits of Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussain in their hands
